It was found that air passengers in Mexico prefer self-service technology. In fact, flight check-ins, mobile boarding passes and buying airline tickets are three actions that more and more Mexicans are carrying out on their smartphones, when compared to global estimates.
As this study demonstrates, the shift to using mobile technology in the aviation industry is well underway and although Mexicans have readily embraced the trend, other countries are set to follow suit in the next two to three years.
