 How does Messito work?

Just like your Yahoo or Gmail account, Messito can be accessed from any computer, anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection. Rest assured that access is secure, since you set a unique password upon signing up to use the service.

Messito is extremely user-friendly and upon accessing your account you’ll quickly realise how easy it is to compose and send SMSs. Unlike sending SMSs from a mobile phone, Messito rapidly sends ANY number of messages in just a few clicks.

After you send your message, Messito’s tracking facility visually displays the number of messages which have been delivered successfully, those pending delivery and undelivered messages.

Signing up to our service is completely free of charge, so why not try it out for yourself!

How will I be charged for the messages I send?

With Messito, there are no nasty surprises at the end of the month. You pay for your messages as and when you send them, just like using pre-paid top-up cards for your mobile phone. You can purchase credit online using your credit card or PayPal.

Are there any other charges involved?

Absolutely not! Registration is free and there are no exit fees or monthly charges.

 How can I register?

It’s quick and easy to register. Click this link to start the process and we’ll have you up and running in five minutes.

How long am I subscribing for?

With Messito you can opt-out at any time, after any length of time, without incurring any exit fees.

How many characters can I send?

One text message contains 160 characters, but if what you want to say exceeds one message, Messito combines these into one long message. These are called concatenated messages. You’ll find more information about these in the next question!

What are concatenated messages and how much do these cost?

If you send a message that is more than 160 characters long, Messito will combine these messages into one. This means your recipient will receive one message, irrespective of the number of characters.

For concatenated messages you will be charged as per below:

GSM encoding Standard (Latin Text):

· Up to 160 characters = 1 SMS
· Up to 306 characters = 2 SMS
· Up to 459 characters = 3 SMS
· Up to 612 characters = 4 SMS
· Up to 765 characters = 5 SMS

UTF-16 encoding (Non Latin text containing special characters mainly used for Arabic and Asian languages)

· Up to 70 characters = 1 SMS
· Up to 134 characters = 2 SMS
· Up to 201 characters = 3 SMS
· Up to 268 characters = 4 SMS
· Up to 335 characters = 5 SMS

And so on and so forth. Messito will show you the total cost of the message before you hit send, keeping you in control all the way!

How many messages can I send?

Unlike sending SMSs from a mobile phone, Messito rapidly sends ANY number of messages (irrespective of whether your database contains 50, 100 or 10,000 numbers) in just a few clicks.
